OUR GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

For any confirmation, a deposit equivalent to 30 % of the whole stay is required ;
Deposit will be deducted at the end of the planned stay, if strictly honoured as agreed.

I – GENERALITIES

Except for an occasional privatization, the Hotel**** Chalet Saint-Georges is open:

During Summer: from mid-June to end of August…
During Winter: from mid-December to mid-April…

During the offseason:

Spring (May): the office is open each Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m…
Fall (end of September to the beginning of December): the office is open every day, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. …

Our restaurant, La Table du Trappeur, is open for lunch (Noon to 1:30 p.m.) & dinner (7:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.) during the open season.

Furthermore, during the Fall, the restaurant is also open during the Automn French School holidays and every week-end (Friday night, Saturday lunch & dinner and Sunday lunch) until the opening of the Winter season…

II – SALES CONDITIONS

Any booking request has to mention: the name and first name of the requester,

the full address,
the e-mail address,
the phone number (preferably mobile-phone),
the arrival and departure dates,
the number of people to accomodate (please specify if adults or children, age).

An answer will be sent to the requester, according to the time limit, by phone, by e-mail and/or by mail.

In any case, an absence of answer of the Chalet St-Georges to a demand cannot be interpreted as a booking confirmation.

The booking will only be confirmed definitively once the reception of the payment of the deposit, corresponding to 30% of the total amount of the stay.

The payment can be carried out: - by bank check;

by credit card (Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, American Express),
with the debit authorization form dully filled in and signed;
by bank transfer (Bank details on request - Bank expenses are charged to the sender).

The act of sending the deposit entails the full acknowledgement and acceptance of the present terms and conditions of sales.

III - CANCELLATION POLICY - Winter 2023-2024

Any cancellation must be notified by written letter, fax or e-mail message ; and will be considered as soon as possible by the Reservation Department.
If warned at least 14 days before the planned arrival date, we engage ourselves to refund you the full deposit
If warned during the 14 days before the planned arrival date, we will keep the whole deposit.

For any last minute booking, (meaning under 24 hours before the scheduled arrival date), the room-rate* (x the number of nights booked) will be charged in case of cancellation or no-show.

For any anticipated departure, the number of nights cancelled will be charged on the base of the room-rate*.
* Room-rate: price of the room only, excluding Breakfast or Half-Board

Within the conditions of our Half-Board Packages, no refund will be given for not dinning.

IV - UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE BOOKING BY THE CHALET ST-GEORGES

In case of unforseen circumstances of the hotel to welcome the client in the booked room, the Chalet St-Georges will engaged himself (with the exclusion of any other indemnity for the client):

to suggest another room for the client, of the same category, or a superior one, at the initial rate;
to suggest a room in another property, of the same standards, in a radius of 20 kms.

If the rate is superior to the one of the room originally booked at Chalet St-Georges, the supplement will borne by the Chalet St-Georges.
The refusal of the proposed solution will lead to the exclusion of any indemnity owed by the Chalet St-Georges, except the refund of the deposit that was paid.

V - RATES

All rates are including V.A.T., except the local tourist tax.
The General Management is in the right to modify them without any advance notice.
The bookings will be charged at the rates of the time of the registration.
The rates are available on the official website of the Chalet St-Georges (www.chaletsaintgeorges.com), and are the best offer proposed coming directly from the hotel, excluding a third party.

You will not find more advantageous rates anywhere else.

VI - ACCOMODATION

The rooms are available to our Guests from 4:00 p.m on the day of their arrival.
Of course, if the room is ready before, the client may take possession of the room, with the discretion of the hotel's Management.
Thank you for letting us now in advance in case of late arrival (after 10:00 p.m.).
The day of the departure, check-out time is before 11:00 am ; for the late departures, a luggage room and showers (level -2) are at your disposal…

On demand, an extra-bed for one person (80x190 - comfortable for a child up to 45 kgs) can be added in some of the rooms and will be charged.
A baby-cot (crib), can also be added in some of the rooms, without any further charge; the baby-cot is not suitable for a child over 36 months.

The entire hotel (outbuildings, lounges, dinner rooms, breakfast room, sauna, rooms) are non-smoking areas. Ashtrays are at your disposal on the room's balconies and on the terrace of the restaurant.

Pets of small sizes are accepted in the rooms, with an extra cost of 15€/day; any deterioration or important soiling needing cleaning or repair will be charged.

Nevertheless, for hygiene reasons, and the comfort of all our guests, they are not admitted at the restaurant ; thank you for your understanding.

VII - REGULATION

The full stay and the extras will be settled at the time of the departure, deposit deducted...

VIII - ADVERTISING MEDIA

We decline all responsability for any imprecision, inaccuracy or omission carried out by information available on advertising media.
Pictures and texts illustrating the rooms and the hotel are not contractual.

IX - RESPONSABILITIES

The Chalet St-Georges will not be held accountable for the nonfulfillment of the contract, due to a case of absolute necessity, to technical problems, disruptions or general/partial strikes.

It is up to the client to inform himself, before his booking, about uncertain events that could potentially affect the smooth running of his stay.
GARAGE/PARKING: Liability is not assumed by the Management for loss, theft or damage regarding luggage and cars.

X - MODIFICATIONS OF THE TERMS AND GENERAL CONDITONS OF SALES

The Chalet St-Georges is allowed to modify at any present time the terms and general conditions of sales.
They will be only applicable to the sales carried out after the changes where made.
